Obama awarded Quincy Jones with an outstanding achievement Award

 

President Barack Obama will present the National Medal of  Arts to Quincy Jones for his outstanding achievements and support of the arts. The medal will be presented by the president in the East Room ceremony at the White House. Mrs. Michelle Obama will also be in attendance." 

The National Medal of Arts is the highest award given to artists and arts patrons by the United States Government.

This is my idol and I'm so happy to hear about his success. Congratulation Quincy Jones"The God Father of music."

Da Brat's out of Jail

 Guess what folks… Shawntae “Da Brat” Harris is officially out of jail.  Jermaine Dupri announced it 

to the world last night via his Twitter account:

Da Brat’s release date was originally August 2011, but she was released early due to good behavior. If you recall, Brat used her musical talents to organize prison talent shows. That went over so well with prison officials, that Brat was granted the freedom to leave prison grounds for a few hours during the week on a work release program…

So lay back and listen as I catch up on this pimpin and freak this debut just like Ashford and Simpson...  Da Brat is back and soo soo Funkified. 

Kim Kardashian Releases 'Turn It Up' Video

Hype Williams came up with this Bo Derek braids look for the music video called, 'Turn It Up,' which was produced by The-Dream.

 Kim says “It took about four hours to do, and believe it or not I fell asleep! I wish I could have worn it longer. We tried out a number of different looks in the video" 

This is going to be interested, she kinda looks like Alicia Lost her Keys.

She goes on to say: “I’m excited (and a little nervous) for you all to hear the song and watch the video. I really hope you all like it!”

Raz B going to China ...

After several months of starting drama for his own benefit, Raz B says he’s moving to China in order to explore a whole new world. , Raz B sent a video to World Star Hip Hop about the move.

On moving to China, the former B2K member said: “I’ve been planning to do this for some years, but now I think it’s the best time. I’m moving to China. It’s some great opportunities over there for me and I’m gonna seize them.”
